  • Xiaofei Zhang - Director of Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Tsinghua Beijing Changgung Hospital, Medical Center of Tsinghua University

    Professor Xiaofei Zhang is a Professor in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and Director of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Tsinghua Beijing Changgung Hospital affiliated with Tsinghua University.

    His work and contribution in Cardiovascular Epidemiology had been recognized at International and National levels. One of his research paper as was awarded one of the best 100 medical scientific articles in 2016 by Chinese Association of Medicine authorized by China Association for Science and Technology. According this paper’s work, the prevention in primary and secondary was stressed, particularly in rural residents. The work of cardiovascular rehabilitation and prevention was developed. The other two research papers on his research work of cardiovascular epidemiology and public health collaborated with the University of Newcastle, Australia and US CDC were highly praised and recognized. Professors Nicholas S. Downing at Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Harvard University pointed out that Quality improvement efforts, based on the findings of one research work, may be more effective among the elderly; prevention and risk factor modification is likely to be a critical lever for reducing IHD mortality rates among patients from rural China. Professor Paul K. Whelton at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine point out that their findings (another research work) may be the first to provide detailed information on the role of body weight as an effect modifier for the relationships between dietary K and Na/K with BP. The new study raises an important question whether Na/K in clinical practice should be more focused on.

    Huang Qingfeng, Senior Engineer, graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Master Degree of Engineering Management. He joined ZPMC in 1996 after graduating from university as QC manager, and then served as product manager, general manager of QA and general manager of overseas services subsequently. He became vice president of ZPMC in January 2005, responsible for quality management and overseas product delivery and service, and began to take charge of the company's overall production in January 2010. He has served as president of ZPMC since February 2015.


    Huang Qingfeng has extensive and long-time working experience overseas, especially in the United States and Europe. He took charge of a number of major projects and has maintained good relationships with foreign customers, the local governments as well as port authorities. He advocates cooperation and inclusive corporate culture.

    Chambers (Chunbao) Yang, senior partner of Dentons Shanghai, member of International Bar Associations. Yang has been listed in China's top 100 lawyers announced by China Business Law Journal, awarded as Finance Monthly's 2017 Award on TMT Lawyer of China and Award on M&A Lawyer of China, and shortlisted for Finance Monthly's 2016 Award on Corporate Lawyer of China, awarded as "Recommended Lawyer" by Asia Pacific Legal 500 and Asia Law Profiles for many years; in addition, he is Qualified Independent Director for listing company, Member of Legal Advisory Board of Shanghai State-Owned Enterprise Reform.

    Laurens Tan’s art & design practice (sculpture, 3D, animation and industrial design) is focused on language, customs and heritage (Beijing since 2006).
    My work has been acknowledged by internationally recognized curators in contemporary survey exhibitions in China and the USA.

    ‘Authentic Hybrid’, my current industrial design project is in collaboration with Beijing Jiumai furniture manufacturing (since 2015), linking art and interior design in a museum and convention context and will be auspiced by the Campbelltown Arts Centre and the Museum of Applied Arts & Sciences (Sydney Powerhouse Museum).

    Currently I am Visiting Artist at the Neon Museum Las Vegas working on my project Reconstructing Identity: Life Beyond Nostalgia developing new research into urban design renewal linking visual identity and nostalgia.

    Babalogic in the Desert, my curated solo exhibition at the Clark County Government Center Rotunda and currently at the Sahara West Library, Las Vegas (2017-18), for which I was awarded Nevada Arts Council Grant.

    In Reconstructing Identity: Life Beyond Nostalgia, as Visiting Artist at the Neon Museum Las Vegas, he is currently developing new design research into urban renewal based on nostalgia and visual identity.

    Dr Ling is a senior executive who has very broad and extensive management and commercial experience. He is a sought-after business advisor and leader in the fields of strategy, business transformation, and portfolio management and his clientele includes Fortune 500 companies and multinationals across the globe.

    Dr Ling, a native of Hong Kong, completed his higher education in Australia and has successively achieved his business leadership role through association with some of the world’s best-of-class organizations, including China Unicom, European-based PA Consulting Group, PCCW, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Optus, Oracle and Telstra. His latest corporate appointment was Director and Head of Service Portfolio for SAP Greater China.

    In addition to his corporate achievement, Dr Ling, who was a holder of the Australian Postgraduate Award in 2010, is a keen researcher in the areas of digital transformation, e-commerce, design thinking and social media, and he is involved in the publication of corporate research and benchmark reports and industry white papers.

    In 2014, Dr Ling was asked to take up a Visiting Professor position associated with the SHU-UTS SILC Business School in recognition of his academic achievements in Australia, Chinese heritage, and corporate experience. This opportunity fits well with Dr Ling’s long-held belief in making a small contribution to China’s internationalization, thereby paying tribute to his late father’s motto: “达则兼济天下”, that is “In success, one tries to let others be benefited.” In this role, Dr Ling sees himself as a “personal friend”, or “mate”, to his students by offering them guidance, support and inspiration.
