Brief introduction to the University:
Established in 1964, La Trobe University now holds a leading position in quality teaching, research and training in Australia. The University was ranked among the top 100 universities of the world in a recent survey published by The Times higher Education supplement.
The University operates a seven-campus network across Victoria with more than 26,000 students. The flagship metropolitan campus encompasses over 330 acres and portrays a relaxed collegial atmosphere.
There are five Faculties: Health Sciences, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law and Management and Science, Technology and Engineering, encompassing some 70 schools and numerous faculty-based research centres and institutes. La Trobe University offers over 450 undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
